Heartless by Marissa Meyer
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Another one of my most anticipated sequels! I didn’t love a Darker Shade of Magic, but I did really like it and this one sounds even more promising. Magical Games? Black London rises again? More Lila? Yes, please!
Release date: Febuary 23rd 2016

“Another Rick Riordan book? Laura, you’ve read 10 of his books already, aren’t you tired of him yet?” NO. Rick Riordan is easily one of my favourite authors, so I’m not going to miss out on this book! Especially because it’s about Apollo angering his dad, turning into a mortal and going to camp half-blood. I’m praying to see Annabeth, Percy and Grover in action in this book!
Release date: May 3rd 2016
Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi

Tahereh Mafi is writing a middle grade book, and it’s about a girl named Alice who has to save her father and “in order to find him she’ll have to travel through the mythical, dangerous land of Furthermore, where down can be up, paper is alive, and left can be both right and very, very wrong.” Doesn’t that sound amazing? This book contains almost all of my buzzwords; magic, a weird land, myths, adventure and family.
The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi
May 3rd is going to be a very busy day with 3 books coming out!
Look at how gorgeous this cover is! I spotted in a 2016 new releases list on goodreads and once I read the synopsis I was completely sold. May 3rd cannot come soon enough.

A Torch Against The Night (An Ember in the Ashes #2) by Sabaa Tahir
Another one of my most anticipated sequels! An Ember in the Ashes was one of my favourite books of 2015 so, naturally, the sequel can’t come soon enough.
Release date: August 30th 2016
The Crown (The Selection #5) by Kiera Cass
I recently finished Happily Ever After, the selection novella’s, and it made me realise how much I miss the The Selection world! I can’t wait to dive into it again, even though Eadlyn isn’t my favourite person (read: she is one of the most annoying characters I’ve ever read about).
Release date: May 3rd 2016 (Another one? What’s with this date?)
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

I'm so excited for A Torch Against the Night as well! I loved the Roman-like world the author had going on, and Marissa Meyer's book too! I swear, that lady is everywhere. The universe is conspiring for me to start the Lunar Chronicles.

Oh man, so many great books! YES to Heartless and A Court of Mist and Fury – I'M SO EXCITED FOR THESE!!! I'm also looking forward to Furthermore, A Torch Against The Night and The Heir, even though I also didn't like Eadlyn that much … oh well, the series is addictive so yeah. 😀
I would definitely add Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2) to that list because the first one was AMAZING. And Rebel of the Sands and and and … there are 18729+ books I'm excited for! 😀

I don't know what I'll do once the selection series is over, they are my ultimate guilty pleasure reads!
I still have to read Six of Crows (ahhh I know, it's bad, I'm sorry. Especially since I got it from you/your giveaway). 2016 will be a great reading year!

I'm so glad I've found somebody else who's looking forwards to Heartless. It's not really any of my friends' cup of tea, and I'm practically bursting with contained excitement from having nobody to talk about it with!
