TTT: Books I’d Slay a Dragon to Get Early

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.

Hi everyone! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is ‘Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early’, and this might be one of the easiest TTT prompts for me ever. There are a lot of upcoming books that I’m ridiculously excited about, and here are a few of them:

One Giant Leap by Heater Kaczynski
Odd One Out by Nic Stone
Mammoth by Jill Baguchinsky
Firestarter by Tara Sim
Wildcard by Marie Lu
The Storyteller by Traci Chee
I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver
Going Off-Script by Jen Wilde
You Asked for Perfect by Laura Silverman
The Navigator’s Touch by Julia Ember

I was going to write an explanation as to why I’d slay a lion to get this early for every book, but then I realized that it’d get very repetitive because I’m anticipating most of these books for the same reasons. Either, a) they’re a sequel in a series I love (One Giant Leap, Firestarter, Wildcard, The Storyteller, The Navigator’s Touch), b) I’ve read something by this author before and loved it, and I’m sure I’ll love this one too (Odd One Out, Going Off-Script, You Asked For Perfect) or c) the book just sounds amazing (Mammoth, I Wish You All the Best).

So, what upcoming releases are you incredibly excited about? Let me know!

Paleontology geek?! Stop growing my TBR 😦

I’m horrible at keeping up with new releases, but I’m anticipating Outrun the Moon, which is f/f with Greek mythology and a great cover, and Daughter of the Sun, the sequel to The Queen of Ieflaria.
