I Show You My Queer Books|part 1

part 1.jpg

Hi everyone! I was quite aware that June was going to be pride month because of all of the gatekeeping on my Twitter timeline, but I didn’t realize until well into June that it might be a fun idea to actually do something on my blog to celebrate pride month. First I thought about writing a pretty personal blog post about my own identity and stuff like that, but then I decided to show you all of the queer books I own instead!

So, I gathered up all of my queer books, ordered them by colour, and took some pictures. Today I’ll be showing you all of my black-green queer books, and then I’ll have another post coming soon in which I’ll show off all of my blue-white queer books.

I’ve done my best to add the identities of every main character in these books. Some of these books do not specifically state a label but do have a f/f relationship (like Girls Made of Snow and Glass) so I used the word sapphic.

Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire – sapphic

I love your photos! Also, this is a great idea for a post. I was thinking about photographing my queer books for Instagram, but I don’t know if I’ll have time to find them all and take pictures. My books are scattered all over the place right now because I ran out of shelves.

Aaaah!! It’s so good that you have so many queer books!! So do I, but most of them are ebooks so I can’t really do pretty posts like this with them 😀 I might take a few pictures of the physical ones that I own, though…

Lol, if I listed every single queer ebook I have, that would be several hundred 😀 But I might try taking pictures of the physical ones sometime. I actually haven’t read like half of them…
