Top Ten Tuesday: My Favourite Bookish Blogs

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.

Hi everyone! I haven’t really participated in Top Ten Tuesday for a while now, but when I saw what this week’s topic was going to be I knew I had to jump on that because I’ll take any chance I can get to rave about my favourite blogs!

I do want to add that I read quite a lot of fantastic bookish blogs, so narrowing it down was incredibly hard. Maybe I’ll write another one of these posts someday, because there are just so many amazing bookish blogs out there. But okay, enough rambling, let’s get into it.

Word Wonders  – We’re starting of in a very unoriginal way because I’m pretty sure that Fadwa’s blog is a LOT of people’s favorite! Her posts are always incredibly well-written, well thought out, original, and while I normally don’t tend to read reviews for books I haven’t read yet, I always love reading hers!

Drizzle & Hurricane Books – Marie’s blog is among my favorite blogs because I just adore her posts. Everytime I see that she’s posted something new I save it and make sure I read it later. I don’t think there’s a blog I read and check as regularly as hers.

Chelsea
Romweasley – I always find Chelsea’s blog very calming. I know that might be a weird thing to say, but her posts always look so organized, all of her banners and pictures are gorgeous, and it’s just all so well-ordered. I wish my blog was like that. Plus, Chelsea is incredibly creative and I love her lettering!

Lili

Utopia State of Mind – One of the things I love most about Lili’s blog is how frequently she posts. She works incredibly hard, and I really admire that. But not only is the quantity on her blog amazing, so is the quality. I’ve never encountered a blog post of her that I didn’t love.

Olivia
Olivia Chanel – I always love reading Olivia’s blog. One of my favorite things about her blog is the playlists she makes quite frequently; they always match the book very well, make me want to pick up a book, and I’m able to discover new music through them. It’s great!

Vicky Who Reads – I only recently started following Vicky’s blog and I quickly fell in love with it. Her posts are very original and a lot of fun, and I get so many amazing book recommendations through them!  Plus, the blog is very visually pleasing. It’s super cute and pink and I love the banners!

Reading (As)(i)an (Am)erican – I think Shenwei’s blog might’ve been one of the first one’s I really started reading, and I love their blog very much. Shenwei puts a lot of effort into their blog, and you can definitely see that. I love the author interviews they do, I love their reviews, I love how many recommendations I’ve gotten through their blog. They’re not blogging a lot right now, but I’m secretly hoping they’ll be able to get back to it sometime soon.

Jen

Pop! Goes The Reader – We’re definitely going into fangirl danger territory by discussing this blog because I LOVE IT SO MUCH but, you know, who cares. Pop! Goes the Reader is incredibly pretty (illustrations are done by Vicky Tsai) blog, that’s a lot of fun to read. I love the series like Do! Judge a Book By It’s Cover (I can’t help it, I like pretty things, okay?) but what I love most is the fact that I can get to know authors a bit better through this blog, and see them talk about their books.

Alexa
A Thousand Worlds – If you like to read queer books, then Alexa’s blog is a must-read. I’ve gotten to know so many queer books through em and I also love reading about read-a-thons which is perfect because Alexa takes part in a lot. And I mean a lot. I don’t know how e does it, but I’m not complaining!

Romie

Romie We Deserve Love – Romie is a person that I started following after I got to know her through bookstagram. Her blog is filled with gorgeous pictures, and one of the things that I really like about her blog is that our reading tastes are very similar so she always has great reviews for books that I’m interested in. It’s great!

So, those were all of the amazing bookish blogs I wanted to talk about today. Please leave your Top Ten Tuesday posts down below, because I would love to discover some new blogs through your recommendations!

Wow, thanks so much for including me!! ❤ I think I follow most of the others, but I'm gonna double-check. And you're one of my favourites too 😀 your middle grade recs are the best, but I also love to see your journey into anthologies 😛

I love readathons because they motivate me to read a lot, although I'm kinda stuck right now. Neither books I'm reading are really working for me, so I started a fic instead…
